What is the Kidney-Onc Mailing List?

Kidney-Onc is an unmoderated e-mail discussion list for patients, family, friends, researchers, and physicians, to discuss clinical and non-clinical issues and advances pertaining to adult KIDNEY cancer. It includes information about patient experiences, psychosocial issues, new research, clinical trials, and discussions of current treatment practices as well as alternative treatments. The principal focus is expected to be information and reassurance for patients and loved ones, but professionals are more than welcome to participate and share their expertise. Commercial solicitations and postings are strictly prohibited.

Kidney-Onc primarily focuses on renal cell carcinoma, the most common form of adult kidney cancer. We also have members who are dealing with transitional cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis, which is much less common. We don't cover Wilm's tumor which is a form of kidney cancer normally found in children. In the rare event that you have a child with renal cell or transitional cell cancer Kidney-Onc would be helpful to you

Kidney-Onc has well over 1400 members, and is a high volume list. If you Subscribe to Kidney-Onc expect a lot of mail! ;-)

Acknowledgments

Kidney-Onc is hosted by ACOR, the Association of On-Line Cancer Resources. ACOR hosts mailing lists for almost every type of cancer, so if you found this page and are dealing with a form of cancer we don't cover on Kidney-Onc, ACOR very likely has a mailing list which does cover it.
